tHE NEWSPAPER

Heres an exact copy of the news paper! This is how bored I was!! Its got everything in it! Except puzzle shuffle. TREMORS SHAKE UP THE TOWN CENTER Last week, penguins were suprised to find their favorite hang out spots in a mess after a serious tremor shook things up. According to official resources, an earthquake hit the Town Center on June 20, causing quite a bit of damage. "We're not sure how it could of happened," they said, adding it was the first recorded earth quake in Club Penguin's history. Rescue Squads reported no one was injured, but the Gift Shop, Coffee Shop and Night Club were damaged, leaving a large mess to clean up. Managers at both shops are thankful for all the help they had cleaning up, and are happy things are back to normal. The Night Club just continued partying, ignoring the damage. "If this place can stand up to our parties, an earthquake is no match for it," said a DJ spinning discs for clean uo crews. Gary the Gadget Guy has installed an earthquake-o-meter that will help detect any quakes in the future. LAND AHOY! ROCKHOPPER ARRIVES JUNE 27 Rockhopper has been at sea for over a moth, which many sailors say is plenty of time to test the quality of the repaired ship, especially the new Snow Cannon 3000. "We decided the Snow Cannon 3000 would be the best way to avoid any collisions with icebergs. I'm interested to find out how it worked," said Gary the Gadget Guy who installed it. Look for Rockhopper on June 27. To access his Captain's Quarters, hunt for his key (if you don't already have it); it's hidden somewhere on the island. IN FOCUS; SKI LODGEHello tour-fans, and welcome to another In Focus feature. Today we'll be relaxing at the Ski Lodge. "Right-o chaps, welcome to the Ski Lodge. After a hard day's sledding, it's an awfully good place to relax," said our tour guide, who was terribly posh! "You can warm up your flippers by the roaring log fire, or enjoy a jolly good game of Ice Fishing," she told us. With our fishing rods and worms at the ready, we set off for a quick fishing trip. "Fishing is all about patience, remember - good things come to those who bait!" she said laughing heartily. Then we took a peek upstairs at the Lodge Attic. "I say, lets have a game of Find Four, what fun!" she guffawed. "Jolly good game old chap!" smiled our tour guide. "But have you played SPEED Find Four? No need to concentrate - just put the counters in the grid as quickly as you can and see who wins! Such great larks!" she said, roaring with laughter. We had a truly delightful afternoon! Try it sometime. AUNT ARCTIC - UNFOUND SOUND & SNOW GO? Dear Aunt Arctic, how do you make sounds? I heard a penguin whistling, and I want to do it too. -Unfound Sound Dear Unfound Sound, nothing grabs attention quite as fast as a loud whistle in the middle of a crowd. They are used by lifeguards, but are also a lot of fun at celebrations to epress your enthusiasm. This might not suprise you, but the only thing you need to whistle is a whistle! These handy tools were first seen at the Summer Party '06, and were an instant hit around the island. The way it works is you just put it on and press the 'w' key. There was also a bell handed out at christmas that makes sounds. And if you don't get embarrassed easily, try pressing 'e' and then 't'. Dear Aunt Arctic, it's almost summer, and I was wondering: does the snow ever go away around here? -Snow Go? Dear Snow Go?, this is a very good question, and it caused me to ponder. I even checked the Yearbooks in the Book Room for an answer to it.As far as I can tell, the snow in Club Penguin has never completely melted. Even during the Summer, it still stays cool enought to keep the snow fresh.Gary once explained to me that the town sits on a layer of snow and ice called 'permafrost', which means it shouldn't melt at all. So it seems that the snow isn't going anywhere. CREATING A BAND - BY CHICKEN007 The most important rule for playing in a band is: Have fun! If therearen't people on the stage already, go onto it and invite everyone else to come and join in. If there aren't enough places left to play instruments or sing into the microphone, the other people can be backing dancers. Tell everyone in the Town, Plaza or somewhere else to come and watch the performance. Rock On! JOKES AND RIDDLES:Jokes:Q. What is big, grey and has 16 wheels?A.
